Area 51 of Fitness, secrets that personal trainers don’t tell you

Like Area 51 where some mysteries are hidden, I’m here to shed some light on a few things that will help you to get healthier and look great.

So…

Secret number 1 : exercise less. Do not fall in the trap of exercising too much. Rest is essential.

Secret number 2 : do not drink mineral water. It has salt and will bloat you.

Secret number 3 : do not overeat protein. Usually, more than 2 handfuls a day is too much. It is always good to check it with a trainer that has nutrition qualifications.

Secret number 3 : vegan protein sources are better than animal sources. They contain antioxidants, fibre and more micronutrients.

Secret number 5 : breathe slowly. Yes, that will balance your stress hormones and make your organs and mind function better.

Secret number 6: group classes are no good. No novelty here.

Secret number 8 : oil is good. Include oil in your diet. I mean unprocessed oils.

Secret number 9 : remove negativity from your life. Toxic people can and will destroy your health.

Secret number 10 : put an alarm to go to bed, so you will make sure you sleep at least 8 hours a night!
