I have to say that machines were designed to create this mass use of exercise facilities and, ultimately, profit.
The whole idea of doing bodyweight exercises is that they recruit more muscles than exercises performed on machines.
And when more muscles are recruited, fewer chances of injury, and you end up doing more exercise in less time.
So a lot more benefits!
So bodyweight exercises are the way to go.
