So let’s talk about that stretch that you should never skip before and after any exercise routine.
Yes stretches should be done, always, before and after any exercise routine.
They help the muscles to warm up, to release any remaining tension and above all to relieve our bone structures of any problems.
And hey, they feel bloody good in my opinion.
So that special stretch I call it stationary full squat.
Basically squat as low as you can and maintaining the feet completely touching the floor, stay stationary in this position for at least 3 minutes.
In yoga we call it Malasana.
This is a great exercise to elongate the hamstrings, lower back and quadriceps.
So get into Malasana and trust me you will feel amazing.
We all have those days when we don’t have a lot of time to stretch.
